Kindermusik
NEWBORN to 18 MONTHS
Village is for lap babies, crawlers, and walkers. It incorporates the most current research on early childhood development and provides families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement. A bonding experience!

18 MONTHS to AGE 3
Our Time encourages toddlers to uncover an engaging
musical world while building confidence, self-control, and communications skills. Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming, and object identification foster language skills, while creative movement to various musical “moods” develops a sense of balance, timing, and spatial awareness. Listening and turn-taking encourage blossoming social skills.
15-Week Classes on Wednesdays, 10:00 am
Starting October 3 and February 6

WE’RE A MUSICAL FAMILY!
Family Time brings children of all ages and their families together to provide a dynamic and integrated learning experience for everyone. Singing and movement enhance social and coordination skills, and “Family Jam” gives both adults and children a unique opportunity to jam on instruments together. The creativity continues at home with a special home materials package. This class is also for children who cannot attend daytime Kindermusik classes, and also accommodates pre-schoolers and their parent(s).
10-Week Classes on Wednesdays, 5:30 pm at the Cultural Centre

Suzuki Violin “Pre-Twinkles”
AGE 3 to 4
The best start is an early start! This class teaches the essentials of violin-playing – concentration, stance, posture, bow hold, instrument care, listening, rhythms, finger placement, care of instrument, practice skills, etc. – through interactive group songs and activities. Each student leaves the class prepared to to begin private and group lessons where they learn “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” – the first piece in Suzuki Violin Book 1.
16-Week Classes, day & time TBA.

Yamaha Music Education System
Music Wonderland
AGE 3
The cornerstone of the Yamaha program is its simple teaching process: Hear, Sing, Play, Read, Create. In group class, students learn through the senses and confirm what they hear by singing it expressively and musically then by transferring this learning to electronic keyboards. Music Wonderland is a unique program designed to give your child the best opportunity to develop basic music skill, and help increase creativity and intelligence at an age where learning music is as natural as learning to speak.

Junior Music Course
AGE 4 to 5
“JMC” focuses on the development of well-rounded musical ability through listening, singing, keyboard/piano playing, reading, writing and creating. Students will train not only their fingers, but also their ears, their minds and their imaginations.
