Chilliwack Academy of Music Scholarships

Competitive scholarship awards are available to all current and prospective students of the Chilliwack Academy of Music. Many thanks to Charles Lygo, Jean Tunbridge, Betty Grady, Dorothy and Bruce Prentice, and all of our wonderful donors. Competitive scholarships are available for a season of lessons with us and are based on artistic merit. Competitions are in late April. Awards given typically range from $100 to $600.

Joanne Patricia Stoutjesdyk Memorial Scholarship

The Joanne Patricia Stoutjesdyk Memorial Scholarship is for upper Fraser Valley students pursuing a post-secondary musical education. Thank you to all of the donors who have made this musical legacy of Joanne Patricia Stoutjesdyk possible. Scholarships are awarded annually based on merit. Auditions for the award are held in late April. The award is $400.

Chilliwack Academy of Music Financial Scholarships

Financial Scholarships are need-based awards available to students taking a season of lessons. Financial Scholarships are funded by our annual fundraising event, the Fraser Valley Distillery Festival, and by donations to the Financial Scholarship Fund. Awards vary depending on the funding and the number of successful applicants. The largest financial scholarships currently available cover 50% of lesson costs.
